About

👋 Hi, I’m George — a software engineer, product strategist, and computer science educator driven by a mission to use technology for social impact. I grew up in Queens, NY, where I taught myself to code using online tutorials, online CS programs, and bootcamps. With no CS classes in my high school, I had to build my own path. That journey taught me how powerful access to tech education and mentorship can be — and inspired me to make that access possible for others. Today, I bring together engineering, product thinking, and data storytelling to build tools and learning experiences that serve the public good. My technical toolkit includes JavaScript, Python, React, SQL, and AWS — and I’ve used these skills at organizations like The New York Times, Major League Baseball, and The Knowledge House to ship real-world products, craft data visualizations, and build scalable internal systems. ✨ Interests: Software Engineering, Data Engineering, Product Strategy, Computer Science Education, Technology/Data for Social Impact You can connect with me on any of these platforms! - 💼 Check out my technical portfolio: https://george-sucuzhanay.netlify.app/ - 📧 Send me an email: [email protected]
