Hi there! I’m Alexis, a full stack software engineer. My experience includes the development of several full stack applications including Buddy, a social media platform I built for dogs that implements graph traversal algorithms over the follower structure to build the user feed and suggest new people to follow, Star Note, a notetaking app I built that is purpose-built to help engineers become more efficient in debugging, and Atlier/Boundless, an E-Commerce platform and backend system that allows users to dynamically post, render, and sort reviews and ratings for different products and used indexing, horizontal scaling, and caching to decrease latency by 97% percent and increase throughput by 670% vs my original goal. Outside of my personal full stack development experience, I was also a SWE intern at Wealth Handyman, a consumer finance planning app. Prior to pivoting into tech, I built over 2 years of full time professional work experience. I was a marketing manager at Wall Street Mastermind, a coaching company that helps finance students break into lucrative investment banking jobs, and before that, I founded my own company, ACS Pets, which I owned and operated for over a year. I am extremely motivated to succeed in software engineering, and I am confident that I would make a strong addition to any top Bay Area tech company.
