My academic journey has been marked by a dynamic blend of leadership roles and hands-on experiences, all of which have been instrumental in shaping my career aspirations. After successfully concluding my tenure as Vice President of Finance at Alpha Kappa Psi, I am excited to reflect on the invaluable experiences gained during my time in this role. Throughout my tenure, I dedicated myself to meticulously managing our organization's balance sheet and ensuring positive cash flow while spearheading impactful fundraising efforts through strategic collaborations with local businesses. This position has not only refined my financial expertise but also deepened my appreciation for the power of effective teamwork in achieving shared goals. Additionally, my role as a Senior Analyst at the University of Oregon Investment Group has equipped me with invaluable skills in equity valuation, 3-Statement Financial Model, and research. I've honed my analytical prowess by using models like the Discounted Cash Flow Model, Precedent Transaction Analysis, and Relative Valuation Model to evaluate companies. One standout experience in my journey was a 10-week internship in Southeast Asia with a prominent Japanese blockchain company. This immersive opportunity allowed me to traverse seven countries, immerse myself in diverse cultures, and gain insights into the nuances of Japanese workplace culture. This experience broadened my global perspective and enhanced my adaptability. Looking forward to post-graduation, I am excited to announce that I have accepted a position with Fisher Investments as a Portfolio Operations Associate. In this role, I will be responsible for translating investment strategies crafted by our Investment Policy Committee (IPC) into actionable orders for our trading team. By executing orders consistent with their recommendations, I will uphold the integrity of portfolios for our high-net-worth clients, aiding them in achieving their long-term financial objectives.
