Aleks Tomovski

First and foremost, I love building things and solving problems. This passion has defined my life and professional career, from the early days of airplane modeling and coding in gw-basic to today's shiny cloud-based products. I've been lucky that my professional career, spanning 10+ years, has provided me with the opportunity to work in many different fields with varying technologies in companies ranging from startups to multinational corporations. This development path has also enabled me to grow not only as an engineer but also as a pragmatic leader with broad industry experience. In my current position, I specialize in mentoring/leading/building teams and providing the tools and underlying architecture that allows them to excel. I'm 100% hands-on based on my firm belief that an engineering manager should always lead by example. Test-Driven Design, Clean Code/Architecture, Ownership are my guiding principles and my basic expectation from my teams. Outside of the office, I'm an avid book lover with a passion for traveling and experiencing different cultures.
