About
With over 15 years of experience in software engineering and management, I am a senior engineer and tech lead at Yahoo, where I design and develop systems for internet scale use cases, such as stream processing, cloud migration, and SaaS. I have an MBA from McGill University and an MS in Artificial Intelligence from Sharif University of Technology, where I honed my skills in data analytics, machine learning, and business strategy. I have a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams, delivering data-driven solutions, and optimizing performance in production. At Samsung Research America, I built a big data platform for analyzing millions of contextual Samsung Pay mobile user data, and created value-added services for regional and personalized content. At Dow Jones, I migrated on-premise systems to AWS, and adopted NewRelic for service monitoring and cost saving. I am passionate about presenting technical topics to business stakeholders, as demonstrated by my award-winning consulting project for Cisco and my publications in science conferences. I am looking for a tech lead/architect role, where I can leverage my experience and education to make an impact.
