Abdul Hadi Zaheen

I have over ten years of professional experience working with organizations such as USAID, the World Bank, and enterprises, focusing on digital transformation, innovation, business process re-engineering, capacity development, supply chain management, procurement, project management, and stakeholder coordination. Currently, I hold the position of Project Manager for digital transformation and IT. In my previous roles, I successfully led the operational and technical functions of Afghan Post, enabling it to become a globally connected post office. This achievement involved implementing digital solutions, adhering to UPU rules, and facilitating efficient parcel exchanges with international postal offices. Moreover, I spearheaded the Asan Khedmat Initiative under Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Communication and IT, which aimed to establish easy and transparent access to efficient public services for citizens and businesses, fostering trust in the government. The vision for Asan Khedmat included the following goals: a. Establishing a comprehensive one-stop shop for a wide range of government services. b. Streamlining and simplifying complex, time-consuming, and bureaucratic processes. c. Ensuring transparency and accountability through the utilization of capable and well-trained human resources. d. Improving service delivery to the private sector to enhance the overall business environment. e. Developing an e-Government platform to provide digital services to citizens and businesses. Additionally, I have extensive experience working on procurement-related projects funded by USAID and the World Bank. Over a span of five years, I successfully awarded and managed over a hundred consultancy services projects, with a total value exceeding $54 million.
