Senior Software Engineer
About this role
Probook is building the core platform for dispatching home service technicians using AI. As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll architect and ship the fundamental capabilities that scale our platform, directly impacting ARR and customer adoption from day one. You’ll join a small, fast-moving team shaping a category-defining product.
What youll do
- Build and deploy production AI systems that automate complex decision-making for thousands of service businesses.
- Ship features at a pace that outpaces large-company cadences—expect weekend sprints.
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows and translate needs into technical solutions.
- Integrate state-of-the-art AI frameworks and tools into production systems.
- Architect scalable backend infrastructure that supports rapid growth.
- Own critical product features end-to-end, from design through deployment.
What Probook is looking for
- Experience with the latest GenAI stack and tooling, including building at least one GenAI application in the last 12 months.
- Expertise in dispatching algorithms, demand forecasting, and AI/ML-powered features.
- Experience building and owning AI features end-to-end with direct accountability.
- Active open source contributor or demonstrable coding projects.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Willingness to work 80-90 hour weeks during high-growth phase.
- Has achieved something extraordinary in high school/college, such as winning a top hackathon or excelling in math/coding competitions.
- Has been working for 5+ years in full-stack product engineering positions, with a focus on AI/ML product development.
- Has been coding / doing math competitions since middle school.
- Founding or early engineering experience at a venture-backed startup.
