With structured development and the opportunity to complete a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship, this role offers a clear pathway to progress into an Executive Assistant position.
This role is based in our Manchester office 5 days per week initially.
Responsibilities
You will provide high-quality day-to-day administrative support to Executive Assistants, helping to ensure the efficient delivery of support to the C-Suite and wider senior leadership team. This will include assisting with travel arrangements such as booking flights, accommodation, visas, and preparing itineraries, as well as coordinating meetings by managing schedules, booking rooms, and preparing relevant materials. You will also produce, format, and proofread documents, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Office, ensuring accuracy and professionalism at all times.
In addition, you will manage expense processing and tracking, maintain accurate filing systems and records, and support general administrative activities such as document management, scanning, and photocopying. You will liaise confidently with internal and external stakeholders, providing a professional and timely service, while supporting ad hoc tasks and projects as required. A proactive approach and attention to detail will be essential in helping the Executive Assistant team operate effectively.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential:
- Previous administrative experience within a professional office environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive approach with the ability to work independently and take ownership
Desirable:
- Experience supporting senior stakeholders or executive teams
- Familiarity with travel and diary coordination
- Experience processing expenses and managing records
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels
- Experience working in a fast-paced or corporate environment
- Willingness to complete a Level 3 Business Administration apprenticeship and progress into an Executive Assistant role
