WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
ISGlobal is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pre-doctoral researcher to join our team. The chosen pre-doctoral researcher will work as part of the 3SI-Control project (https://3sicontrol.com/). The 3SI-CONTROL project aims to improve the control of three major neglected tropical diseases—Taenia solium, schistosomiasis, and soil-transmitted helminths—in Zambia, Tanzania, and Mozambique by evaluating a new integrated treatment strategy under real-world conditions. Led by a strong international consortium, the project runs until 2029 with support from the Global Health EDCTP3. The health economics component of the study includes (but is not limited to) the cost-effectiveness of the novel integrated treated strategy; the estimate of the health-related quality of life of trial participants over time and the impact of the intervention on school outcomes.
As part of this project, the candidate will apply for enrolment in a PhD programme at the University of Barcelona.
Notably, the selected researcher will join the health economics group, will contribute and receive knowledge from the colleagues.
