We’re looking for Community Resilience Workers (Outreach) to join the Children and Family Wellbeing Service and support families in our Family Hubs and in the community, a role where every day brings the chance to make a meaningful, lasting impact.

Working flexibly across Lancashire's Family Hubs, community venues, and through outreach, you’ll connect with families who may not otherwise access support, helping them stabilise, grow and thrive.
You’ll:
- Build trusted, respectful relationships with families
- Provide practical, hands-on support when it’s needed most
- Deliver engaging group sessions and drop-ins
- Work alongside partners to create a joined-up, accessible support network
Your work will directly help families overcome barriers, build resilience and improve outcomes for children and young people.
We’re seeking people who are:
- Compassionate, approachable and non-judgemental
- Skilled at building relationships and engaging communities
- Confident delivering group sessions and working one-to-one
- Adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused
You’ll also have:
- Experience working with children, young people, and families
- Strong communication and partnership-working skills
- A good understanding of the challenges facing families today
- A commitment to equality, safeguarding and professional practice
