

Vocational Instruction Project
Vocational Instruction Project, operating within the Hospitals and Health Care industry, is currently seeking qualified professionals. The company employs between 201-500 individuals. Vocational Instruction Project has three open positions available: * **CASAC-T Counselor/Case Manager – Mobile Medication Unit (MMU):** This on-site role involves providing direct client support and care coordination for individuals served by the Mobile Medication Unit. Responsibilities include conducting intake screenings, developing service and discharge plans, providing case management services, facilitating coordination between the client, Clinical Coordinator, nursing staff, and community partners, and monitoring client engagement and progress. A CASAC or CASAC-T is required, and candidates should have at least two years of experience in case management, substance use disorder, or a behavioral health setting. The position requires a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekends. * **Lead Residential Aide:** This on-site position involves acting as the point person for day-to-day evening program operations. The Lead Residential Aide trains Residential Aides, monitors activities, manages toxicology systems, ensures client screening adherence, maintains logs and records, conducts facility checks, and responds to emergencies. A High School Diploma or GED is required. CASAC-T is preferred. At least two years of experience in a residential social service program is needed. Fire Safety Coordinator Certificate (F-80) and Food Handler's Certificate are required or can be obtained after hiring. The role requires a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. * **LPN:** This on-site position, which offers a sign-on bonus, requires the selected candidate to provide nursing care under the direction of the Nurse Manager. The LPN will assist clients, administer medication, observe for side effects, maintain medical records, and perform duties within their scope of practice. The position requires a current NYS LPN License and an Infection Control Certificate. Minimum one year of LPN experience is required, preferably in a substance abuse treatment program. Excellent written and oral communication skills, and computer proficiency are also required. The positions at Vocational Instruction Project utilize various technologies and skills. The CASAC-T Counselor/Case Manager role requires proficiency with Microsoft Office, Electronic Health Record, and data tracking systems. The Lead Residential Aide role involves experience with documentation and inventory management. The LPN role requires computer proficiency. All three positions require on-site presence. The CASAC-T Counselor/Case Manager role involves working in both office and mobile settings, including the Mobile Medication Unit. The LPN and Lead Residential Aide positions also involve office/mobile settings. The Mobile Medication Unit is temperature controlled for inclement weather. **1.
