These on-site roles offer opportunities to contribute to the organization's mission of supporting those experiencing homelessness. * **Shelter Generalist: Family Shelter (Night Shift):** This on-site position offers a salary between $20 - $22 USD. The Shelter Generalist maintains a safe, clean, and hospitable environment for guests and residents at the Family Shelter. Responsibilities include completing intake procedures, overseeing shelter operations, responding to resident requests, performing regular safety checks, and maintaining records. This role requires experience working with marginalized communities, effective de-escalation skills, and strong communication abilities. The schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 11 pm-7 am, with Friday and Saturday nights off. The primary work location is the Adams Street Family Campus. * **Donation Center Manager:** This on-site position offers a salary between $29 - $35 USD. The Donation Center Manager leads the Donation Center team, ensuring the efficient processing of charitable contributions. Responsibilities include leading and equipping the team, performing key duties within the processing team including accepting donations, and maintaining a clean, organized facility. Strong leadership and communication skills, as well as experience with team leadership and customer service, are essential. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm. The primary work location is the Donation Center, Located at Holy Rosary. * **Development Officer:** This on-site position offers a salary between $37 - $40 USD. The Development Officer extends the reach of THE RESCUE MISSION through planning, coordinating, and implementing its partner and development program. The Development Officer will identify, cultivate, solicit, and manage stewardship activities. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience, 3+ years of nonprofit fund development experience, and experience with face-to-face donor solicitation and fundraising.
