Key responsibilities include acquisition document development, review, and refinement; recurring reporting, tracking, and data consolidation; acquisition process support and documentation standardization; and governance coordination, meeting materials, and action tracking. This hybrid position requires a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/USCG Public Trust / Suitability. The work location is U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters (USCG HQ). * **Acquisition Specialist I - USCG:** This full-time position involves providing direct acquisition and administrative support to the U.S. Coast Guard CG-SID team. Responsibilities include ad hoc acquisition document review and support, recurring reports and data consolidation, acquisition policy and process support, and governance meeting support including scheduling, materials, minutes, and tracking. The position requires a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DHS/USCG Public Trust / Suitability. The work location is U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters (USCG HQ). The positions utilize the following technologies: SharePoint administration, content management, information architecture, workflow automation, data analysis, documentation, user guidance, Microsoft 365, Adobe Acrobat, low-code tools, dashboarding, reporting, troubleshooting, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Other technologies include acquisition support, technical writing, document review, quality control, stakeholder coordination, process improvement, governance support, meeting management, action tracking, federal acquisition, communication, data consolidation, and meeting support. The Information Technology Specialist - Sharepoint Admin and the Acquisition Specialist II - USCG positions are hybrid, while the Acquisition Specialist I - USCG position is also hybrid. All three positions are located at the U.S. Coast Guard Headquarters (USCG HQ). The Information Technology Specialist - Sharepoint Admin role is part-time, while the Acquisition Specialist II and I positions are full-time. The Information Technology Specialist - Sharepoint Admin position has hours from 08:00 – 16:00, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to support mission needs.
