This position requires the ability to travel frequently and on short notice, walk long distances, lift 40 lbs, work outdoors in variable weather conditions, and some overnight travel. * **Engineering Intern:** This on-site, part-time (hourly) position collaborates with engineers and designers on various engineering tasks. These include organizing field work, participating in field data collection, reviewing field data collected, drafting submittals, performing basic design calculations, assisting with project plans and specifications for civil and environmental projects, and assisting with project management tasks. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil preferred) or current enrollment in an accredited engineering program is required. Candidates must have the ability to obtain or already have Engineer Intern (E.I.) certification. The role requires experience with execution of various civil projects, excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and strong organizational skills. A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record are also necessary. Experience with AutoCAD and other design software is a plus. The position requires the ability to occasionally travel, walk long distances, lift 30 lbs, and work outdoors in variable weather conditions. * **Accountant:** This full-time hybrid position is based out of the Baton Rouge office. The Accountant will participate in accounting and reporting endeavors, including reports for management, monthly and quarterly financial reporting, and cash forecasting. A Bachelor’s in accounting or a related business degree is required. Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or other Deltek software is a plus, as is experience in an engineering or professional services-based industry. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work with large amounts of data, and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products, including Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel knowledge with pivot tables and lookup functions is preferred. Experience with payroll and payroll tax is also preferred.
