Propellerhead has three open positions: **1. Senior Software Developer (Remote):** This remote position requires a Senior Software Developer to work alongside the team based in Auckland, New Zealand. The role involves crafting systems, contributing to software solution design, collaborating with stakeholders, constructing software across the stack, providing second-line support, and sharing knowledge. The company is evolving its code base to Rust. The role requires 7+ years of Software Developer experience, including experience working with enterprise-level complexity. Proficiency in TypeScript, a modern web application framework (preferably React), C#, and up-to-date .NET frameworks is required. The Senior Software Developer must have hands-on experience deploying to Azure and/or AWS and experience with asynchronous services and/or stream processing. Experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments is also required. Some experience with Rust is desirable. **2. Move to New Zealand - Senior Software Developer:** Propellerhead is seeking a Senior Software Developer to relocate to Auckland, New Zealand, or those who wish to work remotely with the team. This role shares the same responsibilities and requirements as the remote Senior Software Developer role. This role requires 7+ years of experience as a Software Developer, including experience working with enterprise-level complexity. Proficiency in TypeScript, a modern web application framework (preferably React), C#, and up-to-date .NET frameworks is required. The Senior Software Developer must have hands-on experience deploying to Azure and/or AWS and experience with asynchronous services and/or stream processing. Experience with Kubernetes and container-based deployments is also required. Some experience with Rust is desirable. **3. Technical Strategist (Move to New Zealand):** This role is for those interested in relocating to Auckland, New Zealand. The Technical Strategist will focus on the delivery of software systems. This role requires 8+ years of experience with the development of multi-tier and distributed applications. The Technical Strategist must have experience with React user interfaces and C# and must have communication skills to bridge technical solutions with business needs. Hands-on experience designing solutions on Azure, including active participation in building CI/CD pipelines, is essential. Experience with streaming and messaging platforms, such as Kafka or NATS, is highly desirable. This role involves developing, reviewing, and communicating solution architecture and championing the technical strategy of Propellerhead. Propellerhead uses a variety of technologies, including Software Development, TypeScript, React, C#, .NET frameworks, Azure, AWS, CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, Terraform, Asynchronous Services, Stream Processing, Kubernetes, Container-Based Deployments, Rust, Go, Kafka, and NATS. Experience with digital identity, verifiable credentials, open banking, AI agent authorization, and edge or device-based software deployment is valuable. Propellerhead offers remote work for the Senior Software Developer position with minimal timezone overlap with the NZ-based team required. The Senior Software Developer and Technical Strategist roles are available for relocation to Auckland, New Zealand. The Technical Strategist role requires regular in-person office attendance, and the company operates a hybrid working model. **1.
