In-depth understanding of the alternative provision landscape, school compliance requirements, and Independent School Standards, along with familiarity with working with learners with SEN and additional needs, are key. Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills with staff, learners, and external stakeholders are also expected. The Teaching Assistant role requires the ability to engage learners and support their ambitions, and a passion for making a positive impact on students’ lives.
