Northside FRC is actively seeking qualified individuals for the following roles: * **Early Years Team Leader 0126:** This on-site position involves day-to-day care and education of children in the Sunshine Childcare Service and Riverside Early Childhood Centre. Responsibilities include devising curricula, coordinating and implementing programs, supporting staff, and ensuring the facility's cleanliness and safety. The Early Years Team Leader will also support parents and implement childcare policies. Candidates require a minimum of two years working in an early years setting, experience with all children aged 0-6 years, and a QQI Level 6 in Early Years Care and Education (essential). The salary is no less than €35,464 for 39 hours pro rata. * **Early Years Worker:** Available in both full-time and part-time arrangements, this on-site role focuses on the day-to-day care and education of children, and involves implementing activities, supporting staff, and maintaining the facility. The Early Years Worker will also collaborate with parents and implement childcare policies. Experience working with children aged 0-6 years is essential, and experience of being employed in an Early Years Setting is desirable. A QQI Level 5 in childcare (ELC Certificate) or equivalent is a must. The starting salary is €29,300, commensurate with experience and qualifications, per annum pro rata (based on a 37.5-hour week). * **School Age Mental Health Worker 2026:** This on-site position leads and coordinates the School Age Mental Health Project, aiming to improve mental health and resilience among school-age children. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, designing interventions, and supporting family engagement. A professional qualification at QQI Level 8 (minimum) in a relevant field such as child and adolescent psychotherapy, clinical psychology, counselling or creative/play/music therapies, with demonstrable training or experience in working with children and young people is required. The starting salary is €39,500 per annum pro rata. This is a 12-month contract, with full-time hours (37.5 hours per week). We also have a dedicated youth work team working with young people aged from 10 to 20 years. At Northside, we aim to support Older People to remain in their own homes and community through a range of social and individual support projects in addition to offering all year around community groups, programmes and classes. The Centre is located on the border of Moyross and Ballynanty and caters for the Northside of Limerick City. Our primary areas for activity are Moyross, Ballynanty, Kileely and Thomondgate along with Shelbourne and Ennis Road, Farranshone, Caherdavin, Woodview, Red Gate and anywhere else on the Northside where demand exists, and a service does not.
