New Horizons currently has three open positions: **Job Coach:** This on-site position offers the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of special needs adults. Job Coaches provide instruction, coaching, assistance, support, and advocacy to individuals with developmental disabilities in community job settings. Key responsibilities include orienting members to work settings, developing work schedules, training members in job duties, teaching workplace behavior, and assisting with coworker relationships. The role requires flexible availability, with 25-40 hours per week, which may include weekends. The salary is $22.25-$23.25 per hour. No experience is necessary, and training will be provided. **ARF Administrator/Medical Logistics Coordinator:** This on-site role is located in Glendale and involves overseeing a Community Care Facility (CCF) home for 20 hours per week, alongside 20 hours of medical appointment coordination. The ARF Administrator responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance, ensuring the health, well-being, and safety of members, managing staff, overseeing daily facility operations, maintaining records, and developing service plans. The Medical Logistics Coordinator will transport residents to medical appointments. The salary is $25 - $26 USD. The roles involve utilizing the following skills and tools: **Job Coach:** Instruction, Coaching, Support, Advocacy, Training, Workplace Behavior, Relationship Development, Driving, Self-starter, Reliability, and Flexibility. **ARF Administrator/Medical Logistics Coordinator:** Leadership, Compassion, Organization, Communication, Problem Solving, Teamwork, Accountability, Adaptability, Customer Service, Cultural Awareness, Empowerment, Collaboration, Responsibility, Innovation, and Sensitivity. The available positions are all on-site. **1. What are the benefits offered to part-time employees?** Employees working 30+ work hours are eligible for part-time benefits including medical, vision, and dental insurance. **2. What are the minimum requirements for the Job Coach position?** Applicants must speak English, possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, have a Driver's License for 3+ years, be at least 21 years of age, and be authorized to work in the United States. Experience with special needs/developmental disabilities is preferred. Job coaches must also be willing to drive an 8-passenger van. **3. What qualifications are required for the ARF Administrator/Medical Logistics Coordinator role?** Current ARF Certification is required prior to hire. A bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, rehabilitation, or a related field is preferred. Applicants must speak English, have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and have a valid California Driver License and a driving record acceptable to New Horizons' insurance carrier. They must be legally driving for at least 3 years in the United States. Applicants must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements. **4. What training opportunities are provided?** New Horizons provides all paid trainings, including CPR/First Aid. **5.
