"A" Bus Mechanic:** This on-site position at the Fond du Lac Garage involves diagnosing and repairing all transit vehicles and service vehicles. The "A" Bus Mechanic will work the 2nd shift, from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM as part of Crew 3. This is a union position represented by ATU Local 998. The 1st-year pay rate is $35.75 per hour, and the 2nd-year pay rate is $37.96 per hour. The "A" Mechanic will be responsible for repairing engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes, air systems, fuel systems, doors, heating and air conditioning systems, minor body repairs, and wheelchair lift/ramp systems. They will also perform all road tests and operate snow removal equipment. A valid Wisconsin Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with “P” endorsement with no airbrake restrictions is required. Candidates must also pass internal written and practical tests or hold current ASE certifications in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance. **2. Garage Shift Supervisor:** This on-site role at the Fond du Lac Garage involves supervising day-to-day garage operations. The shift is 2nd shift, from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Sunday through Wednesday. The salary range is $72,700 - $90,900. The Garage Shift Supervisor ensures efficient maintenance, timely repairs, nightly parking, and pull-out of buses. This position is exempt and non-represented. The role requires five years' experience as a diesel, automotive, or heavy-equipment mechanic. A valid Class D Wisconsin Driver’s License is required. A valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with “P” Endorsement is preferred. **3. Senior Network Engineer:** This on-site position requires the Senior Network Engineer to maintain, monitor, patch, update, and document the network and infrastructure across multiple sites. The salary range is $77,600 - $81,500. This role reports to the Manager of IT Operations. The Senior Network Engineer will assist with strategic planning and implement and support enterprise voice, video, and data services. This position is exempt and non-represented. The candidate must have five years of experience to include technical analysis, systems design, and configuration of network equipment is required. The candidate must also have three years of experience with Windows Active Directory, three years in the implementation and maintenance of systems, and four years of experience with configuration of network infrastructure and system architecting. Employment eligibility to work for Milwaukee County Transit System is required as the company is not currently able to pursue visa sponsorship for this position. MCTS uses a variety of technologies. The "A" Bus Mechanic will utilize their diagnostic skills to maintain and repair transit vehicles. The Garage Shift Supervisor must have knowledge of computer operations and software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Dynamics 365, and Outlook. The Senior Network Engineer will need experience with TCP/IP, VOIP, DNS, NTP, DHCP, Cisco routing, firewall programming, M365, Active Directory, PowerShell, Bash, SQL Scripting, virtual server environments, backup management, network security, project management, and documentation. The "A" Bus Mechanic and Garage Shift Supervisor positions are on-site at the Fond du Lac Garage.
