MCCLURE ENGINEERING is currently hiring for three Electrical Engineer positions. These roles involve working on a diverse range of projects involving complex building and campus systems. **Job Title:** Electrical Engineer - Designing Building Systems Experience Preferred, Experienced Electrical Engineer, and Senior Electrical Engineer. All positions offer a hybrid remote policy that includes the ability to schedule 1-day remote per week. **Responsibilities for these roles include:** * Performing engineering functions for project needs, including electrical power service and distribution, branch circuits, indoor and outdoor lighting and lighting controls, fire alarm systems, telephone and data infrastructure wiring, audio/visual systems, and miscellaneous electrical and control systems to develop the production of construction documents (drawings and specifications) * Advising clients regarding electrical systems and requirements. * Leading electrical project design. * Performing field inspections. * Coordinating with internal and external design team members. * Solving complex problems. * Providing guidance to the construction team. * Performing project management activities. **Requirements for these roles include:** * A B.S.E.E. from an accredited university or equivalent experience is required. Professional Engineer (PE) is preferred. * 7+ years of relevant electrical engineering design. * Experience selecting equipment and troubleshooting systems. * Knowledge of the electrical construction trade, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), and of the National Electric Code (NEC). * Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and Word). * Relevant experience using Bluebeam and industry-specific software such as SKM, Aspen, and/or EasyPower. * Proven ability to read and understand both 2D and 3D drawings.
