Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, and Crisis Management training are offered by the agency. A valid driver’s license is required, as well as the ability to drive company vehicles and reliable transportation. **Paraprofessional:** The Paraprofessional role supports classroom teachers in implementing therapeutic treatment programs. This position is for the Krejci Academy, a preK-12th grade therapeutic day school serving children on the Autism spectrum. The position starts at $20.00/hr, working Monday - Friday from 8:45 am - 2:45 pm (30 hours per week) during the academic school year, with an optional ESY summer program. Benefits include eligibility for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with additional voluntary plans. Medical PPO is paired with a Medical Expense Reimbursement Program (MERP) funded by the agency. Paid sick and leave time is accrued. Must have or be eligible to obtain Paraprofessional certification or Sub license. To be eligible must be at least 19 years of age, have a High School Diploma or GED and 1 of the following: Passing scores on the ACT WorkKeys assessments, 60 semester hours of coursework, or an Associate's degree or higher. **Teacher Assistant:** This on-site position provides assistance and support to classroom teachers in establishing and implementing a therapeutic classroom program based on the students' Individual Educational Plan (IEP). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, with accrued sick and paid leave time. Employees are also eligible for a 401K plan after 60 days. The schedule follows a 9-month academic calendar, with an optional ESY program, working Monday-Friday, 8:45 am-2:45 pm, at $21.50/hr plus an additional stipend for classroom coverage. The requirements include a Bachelor's degree and a Professional Educator License (PEL) or specialized training in the field of human services is preferred. Must be eligible to obtain a substitute teaching license. The 1 to 1 Support Staff position utilizes skills in Empathy, Patience, Physical Stamina, Reliability, Medication Administration, Crisis Management, Behavioral Support, Documentation, Transportation, Daily Living Assistance, Community Integration, Supervision, Meal Preparation, Health Monitoring, Team Collaboration, and Communication. The Teacher Assistant position includes Classroom Support, Therapeutic Program Implementation, Individual Educational Plan (IEP) Assistance, Collaboration, Communication, and Adaptability.
