LAKE CABLE, LLC, a leading manufacturer in the Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing industry, is currently seeking qualified individuals to join its team. With a workforce of 201-500 employees, LAKE CABLE, LLC has been a leading manufacturer of low voltage, industrial power, utility, custom OEM and broadcast-quality cables for over a quarter century, all 100% produced in the United States. LAKE CABLE, LLC has three open positions currently available: **1. Quality Engineer:** This on-site role requires the Quality Engineer to report to the Quality Manager and work closely with the Plant Manager, Process Engineering team, Design department and Manufacturing department. Responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, focusing on postproduction electrical failures, evaluating equipment needs, becoming a Subject Matter Expert on UL standards, overseeing the corrective action system, maintaining and improving the current Quality Management System, managing supplier relationships, creating quarantine and return to vendor procedures, performing root cause analysis, writing and reporting quality metrics, identifying and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. The Quality Engineer should have a B.S. in Engineering in Chemical, Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical and 1+ years in a Quality Engineer role. **2. Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift:** This on-site position involves dismantling, rebuilding, and reassembling machinery. This role involves installing wiring of electronic devices, new and used equipment, and electrical/water plumbing. This 2nd shift position (2 pm-10 pm) offers a 10% differential. Completion of High School, GED or equivalent is required, as is 2-5 years of experience working as a Maintenance Technician or Electrical Technician. Experience with 120V, 240V, 480V 3 phase and low voltage controls is needed. **3. Quality Technician - 1st Shift:** The on-site Quality Technician will perform final inspections, conduct required quality tests, verify tests performed by operators, and assist in inspecting customer returns and re-work processes. The Quality Technician must comply with ISO procedures and standards, and assist in maintaining the Quality Management System and Internal Audits program. Completion of High school, GED or equivalent is required, as is experience in quality in a manufacturing setting. The positions at LAKE CABLE, LLC utilize a range of technologies and skills. These include basic background in polymers and electrical circuits, analytical skills, logic and reasoning, design of experiments, quality testing and inspection, problem-solving tools such as root cause analysis, 5 Why, and fishbone diagrams, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Data Base). The Maintenance Technician position requires experience with 120V, 240V, 480V 3 phase and low voltage controls. The Quality Technician role requires working knowledge of ISO Standards. The Quality Engineer, Maintenance Technician, and Quality Technician roles are all on-site positions. The Quality Engineer works in both a laboratory and plant environment. The Maintenance Technician and Quality Technician will work within a plant environment.
