Key Training Center is actively recruiting for the following positions: * **Maintenance Project Manager:** This on-site, working manager position oversees the maintenance staff, repair of equipment, building structures, and grounds. Responsibilities include developing project plans, supervising maintenance personnel, serving as the primary vendor contact, managing supplies, completing documentation, reviewing maintenance requests, and ensuring vehicle maintenance. The role requires a valid Florida driver's license with a safe driver rating. This position requires someone who can perform repairs and maintenance, including mechanics, carpentry, electricity, heating, and air conditioning. * **Key Elder Care Team Member Full Time:** This on-site role involves performing instructional tasks, assisting program participants with activities, and providing physical assistance. Essential duties include supervising participants, assisting with daily activities, recording performance data, and providing physical assistance with self-help needs. The position requires completion of designated training in Dementia, CPR/First Aid. Certification in Behavior Assistant Services, and in Therapeutic Alternatives to Crisis Training is preferred. * **Direct Support Professional Manager:** This on-site position focuses on assisting developmentally delayed residents in residential care settings. The Direct Support Professional Manager is responsible for supervising direct support professionals and ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. Responsibilities include following behavior management programs, maintaining records, preparing staff schedules, participating in the hiring process, and handling medication management. A valid Florida driver's license with a safe driver rating is required. A minimum of one year of experience working with the mentally disadvantaged is preferred. The Key Training Center was established in 1966 to unlock and open the door of opportunity for people with developmental disabilities and other developmental disabilities. Historically, expansion of Key Center programs and services was driven by a consistently increasing need within the local community. Expansion also was driven by the agency’s fundamental belief that programs and services should be available to all developmentally disabled people who need them. Expansion, however, was possible because the Key Center enjoyed steadfast community support in Citrus County. As a community, Citrus County residents embraced, with compassion, our mentally challenged friends as full-citizen partners. The Key Center has been recognized as a leader and innovator in initiatives associated with improving the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities and has grown to serve about 1,300 consumers since it began.
