INDIANAPOLIS MARION CNTY BLDG has three open positions: * **Electrician:** This on-site position involves preventive maintenance, repair, and alterations of electrical equipment at Building Authority properties. Responsibilities include working on lighting systems, emergency generators, motors, pumps, card readers, automatic door systems, commercial laundry equipment, air conditioning systems, electrical kitchen equipment, intercom systems, public address systems, high voltage switch gear, and fire/smoke alarm systems. The Electrician will also perform electrical alterations. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma, three years of experience, a valid Indiana Driver’s License, and the ability to work independently. * **HVAC Controls Technician - 1st Shift:** This on-site role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of both HVAC mechanical and automated control systems. Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and calibrating new and existing mechanical and control systems. The technician will also troubleshoot, program, perform preventive maintenance, and collaborate with other departments. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, with an Associate's degree or technical certification in a related field preferred. * **Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift:** This on-site position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for mechanical preventative maintenance, repair, building alterations, and monitoring building automation systems for all Building Authority buildings. The responsibilities include preventative maintenance and repair for various types of HVAC systems, refrigeration equipment, and all plumbing systems. The candidate should be able to work a flexible schedule. Qualifications include EPA and ACM certifications, High School Diploma, a valid Indiana Driver’s License, and previous experience with HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing systems, building automation, pneumatic, and electronic controls.
