Hop currently has three open positions. **Lead / Principal Recruiter:** This remote role focuses on closing senior technical roles and building client relationships. Responsibilities include leading full-cycle searches, managing client and candidate relationships, and delivering results. As the role progresses, the Lead / Principal Recruiter will integrate AI into their workflow using Moon Engine. They will provide feedback to engineering and product teams, and eventually onboard enterprise clients to the platform. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience recruiting technical talent and possess exceptional client and candidate relationship skills. **Founding VP of Engineering:** This on-site role involves taking ownership of the engineering function, providing technical direction, team growth, and execution velocity. The Founding VP of Engineering will design and build core product features, architect and scale AI-driven systems, and build and lead the engineering team. They will also make foundational technical decisions. The role requires experience shipping and operating production systems. **Engineering & Quality – Data Engineer:** This hybrid role involves working as a member of a data engineering team by implementing modern, scalable data solutions. The Data Engineer will partner with the CDO team to implement the vision for an AWS-based data platform. They will champion adoption of emerging technologies such as Agentic AI and Generative AI, integrating advanced capabilities into data workflows. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years’ experience as a member of a highly technical data-centric software engineering team, with proven AWS expertise. The Lead / Principal Recruiter position utilizes technologies like Recruiting, Client Relationship Management, Candidate Engagement, Technical Talent Acquisition, AI Integration, Feedback Documentation, Training, Consulting, Sourcing, Interviewing, Offer Negotiation, and Stakeholder Management. The Founding VP of Engineering position requires expertise in Full-Stack Engineering, Production Systems, Cloud Infrastructure, CI/CD Pipelines, Scaling, Reliability, Performance Tuning, Infrastructure Decisions, Security, Team Leadership, Hiring, Cross-Functional Leadership, Agentic Architectures, AI Systems, and Workflow Automation. The Engineering & Quality – Data Engineer role involves technologies such as Data Engineering, AWS, Python, API Development, ETL, AI/ML, Microservices, CI/CD, Data Governance, Data Quality, Kafka, Cloud Solutions, Data Virtualization, REST APIs, and GraphQL.
