The open positions are: * **Maintenance Technician II**: This on-site role involves a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. Responsibilities include handling plumbing, appliances, and electrical work, as well as roofing inspections and minor repairs. The position requires at least two years of experience, with at least one year in residential maintenance, property management, or the real estate industry, and HVAC certification is preferred. The technician will also be part of the on-call rotation and assist in after-hours emergencies and must be available to work longer hours and weekends during market turnover in July and August. * **Maintenance Technician**: This on-site role involves a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks. Responsibilities include handling plumbing, appliances, and electrical work, as well as roofing inspections and minor repairs. This position requires at least one year of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of customer service, hospitality, retail, or sales experience, and must obtain an Illinois Residential Leasing Agent License within one year of employment (Illinois Properties ONLY) as applicable. Fairlawn utilizes various technologies and skills in its operations. The Maintenance Technician roles require proficiency in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical repairs. Customer service, attention to detail, teamwork, problem-solving, and time management skills are also essential. The Leasing and Resident Services Specialist role uses customer service, event management, hospitality, and sales skills. Proficiency in computer applications and software such as Microsoft Office Suite, AppFolio, and Outlook is also necessary for the Specialist role. All three listed positions are on-site roles.
