The Exploratorium, a leader in the Museums, Historical Sites, and Zoos industry, is currently seeking talented individuals to join its team. With a staff of 201-500 employees, the Exploratorium offers a dynamic work environment. The Exploratorium currently has three open positions: * **Assistant Manager, Visitor Engagement (Fixed-Term):** This is an on-site, fixed-term position for six months, reporting to the Visitor Engagement Managers. The Assistant Manager will oversee daily museum operations, including membership, ticketing, and retail, as well as programs that support visitor learning experiences. Responsibilities include staff supervision and morale, fiscal responsibilities, sales growth, and staff training. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience and be available to work shifts that include weekends, evenings, and holidays. * **On-Call Senior Graphic Designer:** This on-site position offers variable hours per week and does not include benefits. The Senior Graphic Designer is responsible for all aspects of graphic development, from ideation and research to design and production. This role requires an individual who is comfortable working in a highly collaborative and creative team environment. The starting rate for this role is $41.94. A professional portfolio is required for this position. * **Project Director, Data and Impact:** This is a regular, full-time, on-site position. The Project Director will transform program data and educator impact stories into accessible, actionable insights. The Project Director will be responsible for leading the strategy and development of program evaluation initiatives and data collection. The salary range for this role is $103,638 to $105,764.
