Environmental Compliance Consultants currently has three open positions. These on-site roles offer steady, year-round employment. **1. Hazardous Waste and Material Storage Location Inspector:** This position is responsible for ensuring hazardous waste storage areas comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Responsibilities include conducting routine and unscheduled inspections, verifying proper labeling, segregation, containment, accumulation times, and storage conditions, and inspecting safety equipment, spill kits, and emergency response materials. The inspector will identify, document, and track noncompliance issues and corrective actions, maintain inspection records, prepare reports, assist with audit preparation, and provide guidance on hazardous waste handling. **2. & 3. Hazardous Materials Specialist/Junior Scientist:** These positions assist the Project Manager in achieving project objectives. They ensure compliance with environmental regulations and DoD and USAF directives. Responsibilities include researching hazardous materials, recommending safer substitutions, and identifying, inventorying, and tracking materials. They also maintain hazardous materials tracking systems, including the Air Force EESOH-MIS database, and assist with program implementation and metric reporting. These specialists will participate in meetings and prepare monthly reports.
