This position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that combines in-office and remote work, typically from a home office. The HR Specialist provides support across key HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits administration, HR information systems management, and personnel record auditing. The Human Resources Specialist will report directly to the Director of Human Resources. A Bachelor's degree in business management, human resources, or a related business field and two years of related experience is required. A comparable combination of education and experience may be considered. 3. **Adoptions Specialist/Case Manager-RPACS:** This is a full-time (37.5 hrs work week) on-site position in Christiansburg. This role provides supportive services to adoptive families post-finalization. The Adoption Specialist Case Manager RPACS will report directly to the Western Region Adoption Supervisor. A Bachelor's degree in social work or a related human services field with one year of experience providing casework services to children or families is required. Experience as a foster/adoptive parent could substitute for formal casework experience. Individuals possessing the required education yet lacking the necessary experience may be hired as a Trainee.
