DCG is currently hiring for three positions. **Web Developer:** This on-site position in Alexandria, VA, supports the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA). The Web Developer will support the NSF Web Team, draft and post all external content on NSF.gov, and manage internal content on the NSF Employee Portal. Responsibilities include creating webpage layouts, formatting and uploading files, providing customer support to NSF staff, and advising on web design best practices. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a related discipline and five years of professional experience in web development and web design services are required. Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as experience leading small teams to perform web development services, are also required. This position is currently contingent on contract award. **Speechwriter:** Also on-site in Alexandria, VA, the Speechwriter will support the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA). The Speechwriter will draft and edit speeches, remarks, talking points, and briefing materials for NSF leadership. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, and 5+ years of professional speech writing experience. At least 3 years of this experience must be in speech writing for science-focused organizations. This position is currently contingent on contract award. **Digital Content Writer:** This on-site position in Alexandria, VA, will support the National Science Foundation’s (NSF) Office of Legislative and Public Affairs (OLPA). The Digital Content Writer will produce written content for digital platforms, websites, reports, and outreach materials. A Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, communications or a science-related field is required. Five years of professional writing and editing experience, including at least 3 years' experience writing about scientific and technological subjects, is also required. Experience writing both short- and long format content, including press releases, fact sheets, blogs, reports and webpages, is necessary. This position is currently contingent on contract award. The technology stack for the Web Developer position includes Web Development, Web Design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Drupal, ServiceNow, and Microsoft SharePoint. The Speechwriter role involves Speech Writing, and Editing. The Digital Content Writer role utilizes Digital Content Writing, AP Style, and SEO. The Web Developer, Speechwriter, and Digital Content Writer positions are all on-site roles in Alexandria, VA.
