Child/Youth Day Treatment School Specialist:** This on-site position provides hands-on client monitoring, supervision, therapeutic activities, and behavioral interventions in the Day Treatment Program. The Child/Youth Specialist will provide on-site client supervision on community outings and during van transportation, facilitate/co-facilitate groups and other therapeutic activities, and provide crisis support as needed. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or a related field involving child and youth populations with mental health needs. Internship experience of one to two years is preferred, along with group facilitation experience. Candidates must have a QMHS (qualified mental health specialist) and AMD (Aggressive Management De-escalation/Physical Hold Training) certifications. For positions that may transport clients: a driving record of 4 points or less, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000 are required. The schedule is 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday-Friday. **2. Jail Treatment Program Counselor:** This on-site position offers mental health and addiction services to adults within the Lake County Adult Detention Facility. The Jail Treatment Program Counselor is responsible for completing diagnostic assessments, running an intensive outpatient group, individual counseling, and discharge planning services, as well as service coordination with courts and probation departments. A Bachelor’s Degree in Human services is required, with a Master’s Degree in Human Services/Addiction/Social Work/Mental Health preferred. Two to three years of experience working with mental health and addiction and experience with an incarcerated population is preferred. Licensure in the State of Ohio with LPC/LSW, LPCC/LISW, and Ohio Chemical Dependency Credential: CDCA I, CDCA II, LCDC II, LCDC III, LICDC, or LICDC-CS is required. **3. Adult Residential Specialist:** This on-site position at Northcoast House in Concord, Ohio, is seeking PRN, part-time, and full-time employees. Shifts available include Monday-Friday 2p - 10p, Saturday 6a- 2p, and Saturday-Sunday 2-10p, with flexible schedules (8, 10, 12-hour shifts) available. The Residential Specialist will monitor residents' progress in achieving treatment goals, record all client contact, and reassess needs. Requirements include an Associate's degree in social work or a related field with 2-3 years related experience or training (High School diploma/GED required at minimum). Two or more years of experience working with clients in a recovery capacity is preferred. A driving record of 4 points or less, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance with minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 and property damage of $50,000 are required. Experience with trauma-informed care, motivational support, substance use, and crisis de-escalation is highly preferred. The role requires the ability to lift 40 pounds, ascend/descend stairs, and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
