Applicants must adhere to workplace protocols regarding pets/service animals. * **Indigenous Awake Overnight (Calgary & Area):** This on-site position supports Indigenous children and youth in a culturally safe home. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, supporting skill acquisition, implementing room checks, investigating unusual nighttime activity, implementing skill development strategies, managing crises, documenting critical incident reports, focusing on family kinship and community inclusion, supporting children and youth's well-being, completing day-to-day household tasks, supporting morning routines, participating in supervision and meetings, and medication management. The role may require supporting other group homes. * **Facility Maintenance Worker:** This on-site position, primarily based in Calgary, oversees the upkeep and safety of all Closer to Home Community Services facilities, reporting to the Facility Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include general maintenance and repairs in plumbing, electrical, and carpentry, repairing damage, conducting monthly inspections, emergency safety response, coordinating and supervising out-sourced trades, procuring supplies, managing vehicle maintenance, ensuring exterior safety, and documenting activities. Regional site support is also required, including Lethbridge and Medicine Hat.
