The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or Birth-Kindergarten and one year of verifiable day care experience with children birth-5 years old. Candidates must have a valid teaching license in Early Childhood content and a valid NC Driver's License. Employees must be able to work as a team, relate well to a diverse population, and pass required background checks and substance abuse tests. **NC PK Teacher - $5,000 sign on bonus!:** This position shares similar responsibilities to the NC PK Teacher, including implementing curriculum plans, maintaining compliance, observing and documenting children's progress, maintaining confidentiality, managing attendance, creating a developmentally appropriate environment, completing training, communicating with parents, participating in meetings, and completing assessments. It also offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus. Required qualifications are a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Birth–Kindergarten and a valid NC Pre-K Teaching License. The position also requires one year of verifiable day care experience with children birth-5 years old. Candidates must have a valid teaching license in Early Childhood content, a valid NC Drivers License, be able to work as a team, relate well to a diverse population, and pass required background checks and substance abuse tests. **Center Director III:** This role reports to the Child & Family Services Director and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the child care center. Key duties include supervising staff and volunteers, ensuring compliance, managing daily operations, preparing reports, and maintaining program quality. This role requires meeting education and credential requirements which include holding a NC Principal’s License, NC Early Childhood Administrator Credential (NCECAC) Level III, or a Bachelor’s Degree in any field with qualifying Early Childhood and Administration coursework. The position requires a minimum of two years of experience in child care, and a minimum of five years of administrative experience. Strong leadership, interpersonal, computer, and organizational skills are required, as well as effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Candidates must also meet and maintain all required background checks, medical clearances, trainings, and professional certifications.
