The Team Leader is responsible for day-to-day office operations, acting as a liaison between patients and practitioners, aiding assistants in managing patient flow, monitoring insurance processing, treatment planning, and working with the receptionist. Responsibilities include balancing day sheets, making bank deposits, supervising financial treatment plans, setting production goals, meeting budget requirements, processing insurance claims, monitoring accounts receivable, scheduling patients, processing pre-authorizations, answering phones, supervising lab notifications, purchasing supplies, coordinating repairs, managing employees and doctors, and maintaining office statistics. The role requires knowledge of profit and loss statements, accounts receivables, Microsoft Office products, and the healthcare/dental field. Skills required include strong organizational, multitasking, delegation, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. **Front Office Receptionist and Patient Intake:** This on-site role focuses on keeping the patient experience positive from check-in to check-out. The Front Office Receptionist professionally greets patients, coordinates appointments, completes patient intake, and ensures the efficient operation of the dental office. The supervisor is the Team Leader. Duties include opening the office, preparing the waiting room, answering phones, managing patient records, scheduling appointments, handling mail, maintaining the reception area, safeguarding patient privacy, updating staff, confirming appointments, arranging charts, completing daily deposits, preparing paperwork, assisting patients with forms, updating patient information, informing patients of procedures, registering new patients, and checking patients out. Required experience includes a general education degree or high school diploma and knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, computer software, and administrative procedures. Knowledge of dental insurance is also required.
