Arc of Anchorage has three open positions available. These are: * **Registered Nurse:** This on-site, full-time position requires applicants to be located in Alaska to be eligible for an interview. The role includes approximately 50% nursing duties and 50% direct service care within The Arc’s group homes. The Registered Nurse will support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, many of whom are medically fragile, by providing nursing assessments, care coordination, and clinical oversight under the Medicaid Waiver Program. The Registered Nurse will be a vital resource for staff, families, and the individuals supported. The requirements include an active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license, a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience (5 years and supervisory or discharge planning experience preferred), a valid Alaska driver’s license and clean driving record, and the ability to pass background checks and required training. * **BHS Outpatient Clinician:** This on-site position provides therapeutic services and quality assurance to Mental Health and other services for individuals who experience severe emotional disturbance, serious mental illness, and/or intellectual developmental disabilities. The Clinician may also provide some clinical consultation and training. This position is a clinician actively preferably working towards obtaining LPC/LCSW licensure within two years of the start of this job. This position also prefers actively work towards certification as a Substance Abuse Counselor. The pay rate is $65,000 annually to DOE. * **Outpatient Treatment Behavioral Health Aide:** This on-site position provides support for individuals to assist them in pursuing goals related to community activities, social interactions, essential life skills, and personal hygiene tasks. The Behavioral Health Aide must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED. Experience in social services and/or direct support of individuals with behavioral health challenges is preferred.
