Achieva currently has three open positions: **1. Direct Support Professional:** This full-time, hourly position offers a pay rate of $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience. The role is on-site at the Westmoreland Office in Greensburg, PA 15601 or the Achieva Office in Pittsburgh, PA 15203, and includes a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000. Direct Support Professionals provide direct care and personalized support to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a community setting, ensuring their health, safety, and welfare. Key responsibilities include supporting individuals with their daily living activities, accompanying them to appointments and activities, assisting with personal care, and administering medications. Candidates must obtain First Aid/CPR certification within 6 months of the start date and pass medication administration within 2 months. Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances are also required. A valid PA Driver’s License is needed, and a company vehicle is provided for work-related duties. **2. Disabilities Advocate:** This part-time position (20 hours/week) is a hybrid role, with some remote flexibility. The job location is Greensburg, PA. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour. A sign-on bonus of up to $1,000 is available. The Disabilities Advocate provides advocacy and family support for individuals with intellectual disabilities or autism and their families. This role assists individuals in navigating special education, transition services, home and community-based services, and other relevant systems. Responsibilities include supporting individuals in achieving their desired personal outcomes, providing information and resources to families regarding education and transition services, and collaborating with families to resolve IEP-related issues. A Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or education is required; 1-2 years of relevant advocacy experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Candidates must also pass required background checks, including Act 33, Act 34, and FBI clearances. **3. Social Worker:** This full-time position offers a pay rate of $23.00 - $28.00 per hour, with a full-time, 37.5 hour work week. The job location is the Achieva Main Office in Pittsburgh, PA 15203 with local travel in Allegheny County, and a sign-on bonus of up to $2,000 is available. This role involves working with families who have children enrolled in the Early Intervention program, providing information, support and assistance and working closely with the therapists and Service Coordination, to ensure the child’s and family’s needs are clearly identified and services found to meet those needs. The equivalent of a Masters degree in the social service field with one or more years of related experience is required. PA licensure is required. Act 33/34 and FBI clearances are also required.
