Assembles parts into complete units or subassemblies using hand and power tools while following blueprints and written instructions. Performs quality checks, precision measurements, and basic preventative maintenance on assembly equipment.
High school education or equivalent is preferred, along with up to 3 months of assembly experience. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet U.S. Person requirements for export control laws.
SUMMARY:
Assembles parts to form complete units or subassemblies at a workstation, multiple workstations or other assigned location. Utilizes hand tools, small power tools and other specialized equipment to perform assigned job. Reassembles or reworks units as required. Does basic preventative maintenance on assembly equipment. May be required to move materials using hand trucks.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, lift, and use hands. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to an industrial environment including moving mechanical parts, various oil, grease, and coolants and possible distracting noise.

Pay Range: Starting at $17.00/ hour
