Role Summary
We are looking for a client-facing Payroll Operations & Client Support Specialist to manage payroll support, operational reporting, issue resolution, and post-go-live client support activities. The ideal candidate should possess strong payroll operations knowledge, analytical skills, stakeholder management capability, and the ability to independently manage operational scenarios in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle client-facing payroll and operational support activities
- Manage payroll queries, escalations, issue resolution, and follow-ups
- Troubleshoot operational and system-related issues independently
- Participate in client calls, governance meetings, and status reviews
- Prepare operational reports, dashboards, reconciliations, and validations
- Analyze payroll data for discrepancies and process improvements
- Coordinate with payroll, implementation, tax, and support teams
- Ensure SLA/TAT adherence with proactive client communication
- Support onboarding, implementation transition, and post-go-live stabilization
- Maintain SOPs, trackers, process documentation, and reporting standards

- Strong experience in US Payroll Operations / HR Operations / Client Support
- Excellent client communication & stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical thinking & troubleshooting capability
- Advanced Excel expertise:
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
- Formulas & Reconciliation
- Data Validation & Reporting
- Ability to independently manage escalations and operational scenarios
- Experience handling dashboards, trackers, and operational reporting
- Quick learner with strong process absorption capability
- Exposure to payroll platforms preferred:
- Worklio
- PrismHR
- iSolved
- ADP
- Workday or similar systems
