Founded in 2013, Avarint is a wholly-owned non-for-profit subsidiary of CUBRC, INC. The offerings of Avarint are closely aligned with those of CUBRC, and leverage CUBRC's 30-year history of providing groundbreaking research, development, testing, and engineering services to a variety of U.S. Government customers.
Avarint operates state-of-the-art chemical and biological agent test facilities that are certified by the U.S. Army RDECOM and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), enabling the use of live chemical and biological warfare agents to determine the performance of defensive technologies including personal and collective protective equipment (suits, boots, gloves, shelters, masks and filters); decontamination products; and detection systems. These facilities have been in continuous operation since 1983. Our experienced team of scientists and engineers provide services of the highest technical quality to our clients. We are responsive to customer needs and have the agility to rapidly apply our expertise to develop customized approaches to meet specific needs.
Avarint's C4ISR Modeling and Simulation Group focuses its efforts on the development, deployment, and support of a number of modeling and simulation systems. We accomplish this feat through use of Digital Integrated Air Defense System (DIADS) representation.
Avarint is the primary supporting government contractor for the DIADS program. DIADS’ overall objective is to develop a high-fidelity mission level simulation of an Integrated Air Defense System (IADS). Modelling potential enemy radar and missile systems that forces may encounter, the system offers superior military training simulations.
Our responsive, client-focused approach to research and development pushes the boundaries of innovation and technology. The way we think is what differentiates us in delivering custom solutions with access to safe and secure, state-of-the-art facilities.
