About the Role

Amari AI is hiring a Senior Frontend Engineer to own the evolution of their AI-driven platform, turning messy logistics workflows into crisp, high-performance product experiences. This is a high-leverage role for a technical leader who wants to bridge the gap between sophisticated backend AI data and the human operators who rely on it.

You will not just be shipping features. You will define the architectural standards that enable the team to move faster as they grow. Direct mentorship from founders who came from Google and LinkedIn, full end-to-end ownership, and founder-level impact at a company with clear product market fit and aggressive growth.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and lead the migration of frontend architecture to support real-time, data-heavy dashboards using TypeScript, React, and Tailwind CSS

Build intuitive human-in-the-loop AI interfaces that make AI outputs and automated workflows transparent, explainable, and easy for operations teams to manage

Take full ownership of the product lifecycle from technical discovery and scoping to production monitoring

Define technical vision, mentor new hires, and foster an elite engineering culture

Tackle the edge cases of global trade, ensuring core services maintain high uptime while handling unpredictable real-world document inputs

Work directly with founders and customers to understand operational needs and ship fast

Requirements

Must-Have

6 to 8+ years of professional software engineering experience in high-growth, fast-paced environments

Deep proficiency in TypeScript and React, with the ability to architect complex state management for data-intensive applications

Strong command of Python for backend services and advanced SQL (PostgreSQL) for database design and query optimization

Startup experience at a legitimate company, not just a two or three-person side project

Bias for action, prefers shipping over over-engineering, and drives cross-functional delivery with minimal supervision

Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, fully in-person

Visa: H-1B transfers, OPT, O-1 all considered, no new sponsorship

Nice-to-Have

Experience integrating AI APIs and handling complex document extraction workflows

Background at a top 50 school

Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or enterprise workflow software

Excitement about equity over base and desire to be part of an early high-ownership team
