About

I’m a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering (University of Ottawa, 2024) passionate about applying science to improve lives through healthcare innovation. My journey began with a B.Sc. in Nanoscience and M.Sc. in Biophysics from the University of Guelph, building expertise in biomedical research, nanoscience, physics, and chemistry. I specialize in advanced imaging techniques (AFM, SEM, Raman, confocal microscopy), honed over a decade of research and as a Nanoparticle Chemistry Technician at the University of Calgary, researching nanoparticle therapeutics for autoimmune diseases. My M.Sc. focused on wound healing, using electrical and surface potential effects to reduce biofilm formation and accelerate the process, while my Ph.D. advanced biomaterials for orthopedic applications, improving osseointegration of bone implants in diabetic patients to reduce rejection and complications—resulting in 5 peer-reviewed publications. Currently, I drive NanoHelix’s Canadian market expansion, connecting MDx kit developers, distributors, and diagnostic labs with high-quality PCR and molecular diagnostics solutions, building partnerships to advance life science innovation. I excel at communicating complex ideas, with a decade of presenting at international conferences and teaching 300+ students as a Teaching Assistant. My entrepreneurial venture, Mint 'n Scrypt, showcases my business acumen, managing a profitable mining fleet and treasury while creating content about Bitcoin, digital assets, markets, and science. Based in Calgary, Alberta, I’m eager to leverage my expertise in roles like medical science liaison (MSL) or medical and life science sales, bridging science and business to drive impact. Let’s connect!
