About

To start with, I am neurodivergent. I have ASD, which used to be called Asperger's. I may seem a bit "off" during some social interactions. I don't actually see or notice that, but it seems that everyone else does. There are some other aspects of it that I do notice. Neurodivergent people are the minority that suffer the most unemployment, and, in consequence, my formal experience does not reflect the totality of my skills. As for the nature of my work, I'm a bit of a polymath. I program and I care about the design of games. Clean code is a huge priority, as well as producing the best, smoothest user experience possible, with the best interface and interactions that time and budget allow. One of the aspects I specialize in, if necessary, is narrative design. I have writing experience and skill, including writing awards. I have also worked in web backend, mostly for content management systems, both as a front-end and a back-end engineer. On the backend, I've mainly worked on Python, Java and Scala, but I can also use Node and PHP. On frontend, I've used Vue, React, AngularJS and Angular, as well as jQuery some time ago. I generally pick up a new framework pretty quickly. I've also worked on connecting unusual hardware to unexpected applications: an infrared camera to Unity through OpenCV, a tilt switch sensor with a web interface through Arduino, a 3D wand for Unity through its C API, and more. I'm for surprising experiences, predictable interfaces, and reliable technology, as much as is possible, of course.
