Alvaro Hernandez Assens

I am a Fullstack developer with proven experience in the modern JavaScript ecosystem including TypeScript, React but also using Python and Django. I worked in high traffic environments as well as ecommerce focused codebases. Love contributing in an Agile team and delivering bug free production level software. After a short adventure in finance I discovered programming through SQL and Excel macros. With time my programs started doing more and more complex things, until it became obvious that software development is my thing. I turned my hobby into a profession and programmed professionally ever since. In 2019 I joined ethinking GmbH helping a fantastic team deliver fullstack features in a JavaScript heavy environment (React, Angular, NodeJS, Typescript, ES6). Currently, I am part of the team building the Hotels experience at a unicorn-status scale-up like TravelPerk. With a strong product mindset, I thrive in Agile teams and am passionate about delivering bug-free, production-level software. Art, Design and Music are among my favorite ways to challenge my creativity and explore.
