Reliability isn’t a team we page, but a standard we hold.</p> <p>You’ll be building the systems that allow us to scale another 100x while maintaining the reliability that our users’ livelihoods depend on You’ll ship real outcomes with judgment, taste, and a steady hand under pressure.</p> <h3><strong>What you'll do:</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Own uptime for payment rails processing billions.</li> <li>Make the secure path the easy path.</li> <li>Evolve data infrastructure using the latest tooling to spot fraud, monitor system health, and perform experiments.</li> <li>Reduce latency across our systems</li> <li>Accelerate deployments that help us ship confidently and frequently.</li> <li>Raise the reliability bar for the entire organization.</li> <li>Ship code that touches our Rails backend, data pipelines, and AWS cloud infrastructure</li> </ul> <h3><strong>You'll thrive here if you</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Have scaled systems with serious traffic.</li> <li>Care about reliability but know when to ship the simple fix.</li> <li>Have strong systems fundamentals: databases, caching, load balancing, observability.</li> <li>Understand security in depth and maybe even enjoy reading about the latest CVEs.</li> <li>Can jump into Rails, Node, or Rust when needed.</li> <li>Take ownership from the root cause through permanent fix.</li> <li>Love digging into the metrics to solve problems</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Why now</strong></h3> <p>The architecture that got us to $2B in payouts won't get us to $200B.
