About this role

We are looking for a Business Savvy Engineer with 3–7 years of experience to join Whop's fast-growing engineering team and own high-impact, full-stack product work from day one. You're someone who thinks like a founder, ships like a machine, and cares deeply about business outcomes — not just clean code. Whop is on a mission to help 1B people earn a sustainable income online, and we need builders who are obsessed with making that real.

What will you be doing?

Ship full-stack features end-to-end across Whop's core product areas (Payments, Wallet, Ads, Core)

Own problems from zero to production — fast, with real users and real revenue on the line

Operate with full agency: prioritize ruthlessly, make decisions quickly, and move without hand-holding

Collaborate directly with founders and a small, elite team to tackle the most critical business challenges

Build consumer-facing products at scale on a platform processing $5B+ in annual payments

Key Requirements

3–7 years of experience, either at a high-growth startup (founding/early engineer) or top-tier tech company with a strong desire to grind in a startup environment

Demonstrated track record of shipping products with real users and real revenue — not just internal tools or enterprise software

Full-stack proficiency (TypeScript/React, Node/Go/Rust, Postgres, AWS/GCP) with the ability to pick the right tool fast

Ex-founder, ex-business owner, or someone who has been extreme about something — a clear signal of passion and determination

Consumer product mindset: you think about business impact, revenue, and user experience, not just engineering elegance
