<p>The Corporate Development team at Vercel manages the end-to-end M&A process, from identifying world-class teams and companies to evaluating, executing, and integrating acquisitions. To date, the team has helped bring 10+ teams to Vercel through M&A, including NuxtLabs, Gel Data, and more. The team also oversees Vercel Ventures, our strategic investment arm focused on supporting startups that strengthen the developer and AI ecosystem around Vercel.</p>
<h3><strong>Role overview</strong></h3>
<p>This is an AI-first internship focused on building internal tools, software, and agent-driven workflows that fundamentally improve how Corporate Development and Ventures operate.</p>
<p>This is not a traditional analyst role and is not target- or client-facing. Instead, you will work directly with Vercel’s Head of Corp Dev to design and ship AI-enabled systems that automate and streamline the Corp Dev lifecycle end-to-end.</p>
<p>The goal is to apply modern AI tooling and software thinking to reimagine what Corporate Development looks like when built for scale by a very small team.</p>
<h3><strong>What you will do</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Build AI-native sourcing systems: </strong>Create automated workflows using LLMs, agents, and coding assistants (e.g., v0) to continuously surface and prioritize relevant companies across AI infrastructure, developer tools, and adjacent categories.<br><br></li>
<li><strong>Automate market mapping: </strong>Develop tools that generate, update, and maintain market maps and ecosystem views with minimal manual effort.<br><br></li>
<li><strong>Streamline early diligence: </strong>Build AI-powered workflows that gather signals, synthesize company and product information, and organize insights for fast evaluation.<br><br></li>
<li><strong>Support integration planning: </strong>Prototype lightweight tools that help structure and capture integration considerations earlier in the deal process.<br><br></li>
<li><strong>Ship internal tooling: </strong>Design and deploy reusable internal tools, dashboards, or agents that reduce manual work and improve consistency across Corp Dev and Ventures workflows.</li>

<h3><strong>Required qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Currently enrolled in an MBA program with availability during the spring/summer semester.</li>
<li>Strong technical background in computer science, data science, engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrated mastery of modern AI tools, coding assistants, and automation frameworks.</li>
<li>Strong problem-solving skills and a builder’s mindset.<br><br></li>

<h3><strong>Preferred qualifications</strong></h3>
<ul>
<li>Experience building with and deploying on Vercel.</li>
<li>Experience with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.</li>
<li>Familiarity with LLMs, agent frameworks, APIs, and internal tooling.</li>
<li>Background as a startup founder/executive; and/or in M&A or venture investing.</li>
