Assistant Registrar
About this role
The Assistant Registrar supports all facets of the day-to-day Records' operation, including implementation of academic record-keeping, graduation reviews, degree certifications, and transcript production to support the academic mission of the University.
Job Duties:
Student records: Assists with developing and implementing procedures regarding maintenance of undergraduate, graduate, and Law student records data in various capacities, including degree audits, enrollment verifications, recording transfer credits, processing student withdrawals and database entry, residency claims, graduation certification oversight - including oversight of staff to certify graduations - diploma production coordination, grade posting, and change of majors and colleges, among other Record needs.
Works with Associate Registrar to develop policies and practices to manage, monitor, and recommends improvements for Registrar's Office functions, operations, and systems. Interpret and apply a variety of procedures, policies, and precedents.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, with at least three years of relevant technical and administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates comparable knowledge and skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of student information systems, preferably Workday.
Strong project planning and operational strategy skills, with sound judgment in decision-making.
Experience interpreting and applying regulations, policies, and procedures.
Proven ability to leverage technology to enhance service delivery.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated supervisory and management experience.
Ability to represent the University in professional and community settings.
Strong teamwork and customer service orientation.
Positive attitude with the ability to plan for and adapt to change.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleges, departments, and administrative divisions.
A proven record in working successfully with diverse populations.

Compensation Pay Range:
