ABOUT THE COMPANY
Truvo is an AI-native consumer insurance broker on a mission to rewire a trillion-dollar industry that still runs on phone calls, fax machines, and legacy carrier systems. Their platform uses AI agents to quote, bind, and service policies autonomously, saving the average household hundreds of dollars while delivering better protection at the moments that matter most.
They work with 40 of the biggest insurance companies in the US, are about to go live in all 50 states (previously Texas only), and are actively launching life insurance as a new product line. Seed funded with top-tier angels, including the co-founder of Indeed, the co-founder of Wave, the co-founder of Octiverse, and the CEO of a $150B company. Funding details are not yet public.
Top-tier angels, including co-founders of Indeed, Wave, and Octiverse, an extraordinary network and signal on the team
40 of the largest US insurance carriers already live on the platform
About to go live in all 50 states, the momentum is real, and the timing is now
Right-hand seat to the CEO, you are not a coordinator; you are the closest representation of Charles on the team
Generalist path to founder, every project you own gets solved, systematized, and handed off. You will see the full architecture of building a company in real time across fundraising, ops, GTM, analytics, and more
$2 trillion market that has barely been touched by modern technology, the upside is enormous, and the window is open
ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a high-leverage generalist role sitting directly next to the CEO. You will touch everything: fundraising, operations, GTM, analytics, partnerships, product strategy, and whatever the highest-priority problem is that week. The previous Founder's Associate ran five different projects in a single day, spanning hiring new sales agents, optimizing marketing campaigns, finding a branding agency, building financial models, and bringing on new insurance carriers. That is the pace and the scope.
Charles will ramp you through the first few projects closely, with the early weeks designed to give you a broad foundation across the whole company. From there, the expectation is that you build toward high agency quickly: own a project, solve it yourself first, then systematize, automate, or hand it off to new hires. If you want to be told exactly what to do, this is not the role for you. If you are excited by a blank canvas and thrive under genuine ownership, this is one of the best seats in SF right now.
The culture runs on three pillars: customer obsession, high integrity, and working hard while having a lot of fun. Integrity is not a talking point here. It is the foundation. This person is the closest representation of Charles on the team and needs to be someone he can trust completely to run through walls and get things done, whatever it takes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Support fundraising end-to-end, investor research, deck iterations, data room management, and follow-up coordination
Own operational projects from start to finish, vendor evaluation, hiring pipeline buildout, and process design
Analyze data to surface insights and inform decisions across lead conversion, unit economics, and carrier performance
Support the GTM strategy, lead generation, partnership outreach, and carrier relationship management
Draft investor updates, internal documentation, and external communications without hand-holding
Build out early-stage projects yourself first, then systematize or automate them and hand off to future hires
Jump into whatever is most on fire that week. The shape of this role changes constantly, and that is by design
REQUIREMENTS
Must-Have
1–3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, startups, or a similarly high-intensity environment (new grads with strong signals considered)
Strong analytical ability, comfortable in spreadsheets, can build a model, finds signal in data without being directed
Excellent written communication, can draft an investor email, an internal brief, or an external partner note without oversight
High agency and bias toward action, figures things out before asking, ships before it is perfect, does not wait to be unblocked
High integrity. This is a right-hand role, and trust is the single most important thing Charles is hiring for
Based in SF or genuinely willing to relocate, in-person 6 days/week, including Saturday, is non-negotiable

Prior experience at a startup, fintech, or insurtech company
Exposure to insurance, financial services, or AI-native products
Experience managing multi-stakeholder projects or external partnerships
Comfortable with light financial modeling and operational analysis
Visa sponsorship candidates welcome, flag the timeline upfront, as it adds complexity
