About this role
Traba is seeking an entrepreneurial and experienced product manager to reimagine the antiquated staffing industry. You’ll lead the product strategy for our labor marketplace, collaborating with software engineers and field teams to design practical on-the-floor solutions for light industrial customers, while partnering with founders and leadership to bring the vision to life.
What youll do
- Define the Vision: Shape and own our product strategy and marketplace vision, ensuring alignment with user and business needs.
- Solve Holistically: Tackle complex challenges by balancing desirability, feasibility, and viability.
- Drive Development: Write detailed product requirements and partner with engineering to execute technical solutions.
- Prototype and Validate: Rapidly develop proofs-of-concept to test and iterate ideas.
- Scale Systems: Design smart, scalable solutions that optimize marketplace operations.
- Leverage Data: Use insights to uncover opportunities, guide decisions, and inform strategy.
- Communicate Effectively: Visualize and simplify complex ideas to engage stakeholders across the company.
- Spot Opportunities: Identify emerging trends and integrate them into the product roadmap.
What Traba is looking for
- Experience with matching/recommendation systems, marketplaces, or AI labor platforms.
- Strong CS fundamentals; degree in computer science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to code and leverage AI for prototyping and testing.
- Experience with SQL queries.
- 5+ years experience in Product Management positions.
- Willingness to work 60+ hour weeks in-person 5 days per week in NY or SF.
- Experience with multi-sided platforms, recruiting, or antiquated industries (logistics, supply chain, healthcare).
- Demonstrated track record owning features and products from 0 to 1 or 1 to 10 (early stage experience).
