Product Designer
About this role
A founding Product Designer at telli will own the full design process for an AI-first B2B SaaS product. You’ll work directly with customers, shape core UX decisions, and ship high-quality features with engineers, laying the foundation for a scalable product as our first full-time designer. This role requires you to balance ambitious AI-driven workflows with approachable, non-technical user experiences.
What youll do
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their needs and design solutions that solve their problems.
- Own the design process end-to-end for new features.
- Identify new AI product opportunities, design concepts, and build prototypes with our customers.
- Create new intuitive interfaces that work in an AI-first world where traditional UI patterns don’t apply.
- Work side-by-side with engineers to ship high-quality features quickly.
What telli is looking for
- 3+ years of experience in product design teams.
- Has worked with software engineers in a collaborative way and has a basic understanding of technical topics.
- Portfolio on CV.
- Pragmatic; technically capable of understanding trade-offs and accepting imperfect implementations.
- Has done customer interviews before or developed a product based on customer feedback.
- Has developed products with direct business impact.
- Touchpoints with AI/LLMs and a desire to build software in an AI-native way.
- Proficient using tools like Lovable, V0, Figma Make.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with engineering and product teams.
- Ideally experience designing UX/UI for software, especially at early-stage startups building B2B SaaS.
- Willing to work in-person in Berlin.
